Brad Parry to take on temporary role as executive search continues
Calgary Economic Development Ltd. (CED) announces the appointment of Brad Parry as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer, as the search process for the next President & CEO takes place.
“Brad has been and is a key part of a strong senior management team at Calgary Economic Development, and he is well positioned to lead the organization with fresh thinking and new ideas as we build on our recent successes.” said Joe Lougheed, Board Chair, Calgary Economic Development. “Brad has a history of building organizational cultures that are inclusive, focused on growth, spearheading digital and technology transformation and driving innovation.”

Prior to joining Calgary Economic Development, Parry had led and acted as a key advisor to small, medium and large-scale operations in media, technology, marketing and advertising in Calgary and Toronto.

Executive search firm, Janet Soles and Associates, have been retained to conduct an international search for the next President and CEO and the intention is to have the process completed this year.
