Just in time for Halloween, visit Granary Road on October 22nd and 23rd for Pumpkin Fest! This isn’t your typical fall event – it’s EXTREME and sure to be a SMASHING success!!
Granary Road has partnered with the Okotoks Optimist Club to run their fourth annual PUMPKIN CHUNKIN . Do you think you have what it takes to chuck pumpkins? Contestants will create their own machine (catapult or trebuchet) to launch pumpkins as far as possible for messy and hilarious results!
All ages are welcome for this fun event which will have pumpkins available for purchase, a costume contest, games, music and more!
Please bring a donation for the Foodbank when you watch the craziness ensue! On Sunday October 23rd is our first PUMPKIN SMASH event! Remember how neighborhood kids would smash pumpkins the night before Halloween? Well channel your inner hooligan and register to crush a pumpkin like never before. It’s sure to be a HIT! Our farm animals LOVE pumpkins and will thank you for making them easier to eat! Costumes are encouraged, but smiles, laughter and pumpkins are mandatory!!
