Climate Imperative Series

The City of Calgary has declared a state of climate emergency. The Climate Imperative is a DIALOG initiative bringing design and city building professionals together to seek collaborative action. The public conversation series is part of this initiative.

Discussions will take place in Calgary with a variety of climate topics affecting the building industry. The panel brings together three leaders in the building industry who are seeking to create places that are future proof and made for people: Mara Baum of DIALOG, Michael Emory of Allied Properties REIT, and Joanne Perdue of the University of Calgary. Moderated by David Gray, former host of CBC's Eyeopener, they will share thinking and inspire us to move forward in designing and building our city in a way that is sustainable and delivers an environment that allows all life to thrive. They will discuss the future of buildings from the development, design and operator perspectives.
