WISC & WINE - Beyond the Titles: Building the Future

Join the Women in Supply Chain Association (WISC) on Wednesday, June 24th, at Vin Room Mission for the second in-person WISC and WINE, an intentionally curated evening designed for thoughtful conversation, meaningful participation, and authentic connection. This is not a typical networking event. With a limited number of tickets available, WISC and WINE create space for professionals to slow down, engage more deeply, and take part in a focused conversation that brings leadership, business, community, and supply chain thinking together. Our guest speaker is Lara Murphy, Co-Founder, President and CEO of Calgary Wild FC, Alberta’s first professional women’s soccer team, and Founder and Owner of Ryan Murphy Construction, Calgary’s first women-owned construction company. Lara is also part of the team that brought Calgary Wild FC to Calgary, helping create a new chapter for women’s professional sport in the city. Through her experience across construction, professional sport, entrepreneurship, inclusion, and community leadership, Lara brings a powerful perspective on what it takes to build something that did not previously exist. This conversation will explore the systems behind what gets built, from the field to the jobsite, from procurement to partnerships, and from vision to execution. Guests will enjoy sommelier-curated beverages, thoughtfully prepared appetizers and canapés, and two included drinks.
