YYC Calgary International Airport has over 100 direct routes to Europe and the Americas for passengers and cargo. It sends some 2 million passengers on their way each month and handles 75% of Alberta’s air cargo shipments.

Calgary is a gateway to millions of local and international customers. We have one of Canada’s busiest and best-connected airports, major highways, two of North America’s Class 1 railroads and efficient access to ocean ports.
Prairie Economic Gateway
The City of Calgary and Rocky View County’s Prairie Economic Gateway is a partnership projected to generate over $7 billion in economic activity and create more than 30,000 jobs over 10 to 12 years. The proposed inland port will leverage the existing rail network to boost interprovincial trade, access global markets and create new opportunities in manufacturing, logistics, processing and distribution.
Aerospace
We have one of the country’s busiest airports and one of Canada’s major airlines. Multinational companies in defence and aerospace have operations here, and we’re a leading testing ground for autonomous systems.
Education
Supply Chain Management Major, BBA
Mount Royal University’s supply chain management major provides a comprehensive understanding of production planning, logistics and inventory management, transportation, global logistics and much more. Students also gain experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions..
Supply Chain Management Major, BA Diploma
Bow Valley College offers a business administration diploma with a major in supply chain management. Students are exposed to all areas of business operations, including procurement, logistics and transportation, supplier relations and inventory management.
Supply Chain Management Extension Certificate
Mount Royal University’s certificate program is aimed at working professionals. The program furthers skill development by covering the latest developments in technology, sustainability and risk management, and how they add value to businesses, consumers and the economy.
Supply Management Training
This program is a joint offering from SAIT and Supply Chain Canada. It blends technical and hands-on instruction in procurement, logistics, transportation and operations. Topics like e negotiations, contract management, marketing and accounting are also covered.
