Fairy Tales Queer Art & Film Festival returns May 13–17, 2026, celebrating bold and diverse 2SLGBTQ+ storytelling through film, media art, and community events. Presented by the Calgary Queer Arts Society, the festival features a curated lineup of local, national, and international films — from powerful feature-length works to innovative short films — alongside artist talks and special programming that bring audiences and creators together. Taking place at Contemporary Calgary, the festival creates space for connection, conversation, and creative expression in the heart of the city.
