3 500 COLLECTIVE is thrilled to announce its Inaugural Winter Market this December! With a focus on art, design and craft, this winter market sets itself apart from the many other holiday markets in the city with a curated roster of over 20 local vendors, plus the offerings from the 17 permanent tenants of 500 Collective.
Enjoy live music and hot chocolate at this exciting new venue offering a unique one-stop shopping experience that allows shoppers to support local while also contributing to Calgary’s vibrant community of creative entrepreneurs.
Created by art entrepreneurs Christine Klassen and Carl White, 500 Collective is an evolving community of studio workshop spaces with an adjoining pop-up space that endeavours to fill a missing niche in YYC’s community of creative-focused small businesses. Located in the heart of the transitional Manchester Industrial area, immediately behind Christine Klassen Gallery, the collective is home to 3 joined bays totaling 5900 sf of working studio spaces for all disciplines of creatives to grow and evolve. Retail exposure is a part of the experience. The collective will host market days for its tenants to showcase and sell to the public on a weekly and seasonal basis.
