The resale housing market posted solid numbers in the first quarter of 2007. Total residential units sold in the first three months of 2007  reached a total of 9,918 units, up from 8,965 units sold the same time last year. The number of properties listed for sale reached 12,936 properties, up from the 10,160 units listed in 2006. Average resale house price increased to $394,758, up from the $306,390 reached the same time last year, or by 28.8 per cent.
