Aero Space Museum
The Aero Space Museum features 30 aircraft and 58 engines, along with historical information about the dynamic aviation history of Canada. Canada's wartime aviators and aviation industries were instrumental in the victory of that time. The museum dedicates its efforts in relaying the proud history of aviation in Canada. The Museum building was originally a Royal Air Force Drill Hall.

Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre
The Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre is in the heart of downtown, beside Eau Claire. The Centre has a six-storey Great Cultural Hall, modeled after the Temple of Heaven in Beijing and includes a cultural museum, an arts and crafts store, and a Chinese restaurant. The Cultural Centre features various exhibitions, festivals and events.

The Calgary Police Service Interpretive Centre
The Calgary Police Service Interpretive Centre is a unique hands-on facility that puts crime under the microscope. Examine the fascinating aspects of police work, from fraud to homicide. Computers and video exhibits provide interactive detective work.
The collection contains approximately 4,000 catalogued artifacts, including uniforms, specialized equipment from various areas of police work, crime scene evidence, weapons, Olympic artifacts, court exhibits, a 1946 Chevrolet paddy wagon, as well as 1929 and 1985 Harley Davidson motorcycles.

TELUS World of Science
The Calgary Science Centre brings science to life with hands-on exhibits and unique demonstrations. The Discovery Dome is one of the best multimedia theatres in North America with shows and wide-screen films throughout the year.

Calgary Tower
As Calgary's most famous and identifiable physical landmark, this 37 year old tower is the fourth tallest structure in the city. Throughout the 1988 Winter Olympic Games, the Olympic Torch burned non-stop at the top of the Tower and the "torch" is still lit on special occasions. In 2005, the observation deck was open allowing visitors to step out into space on a new 36 foot long, 4 foot wide glass floor and look directly down on the city, 525 feet below.

Calgary Zoo, Botanical Garden & Prehistoric Park
The world class Calgary Zoo is home to over 900 animals from around the world, many of them endangered species such as the Siberian tiger and western lowland gorilla. Many species from North America are featured in the zoo's Canadian Wilds section. with ecosystems representing Aspen Woodlands, Northern Forest and Rocky Mountains. The conservatory's exotic and tropical, arid and butterfly gardens delight visitors of all ages. A volcano and sandstone hoodoos are part of the environment surrounding life-size dinosaur models in the Prehistoric Park - a recreation of the Mesozoic period. The Calgary Zoo is accredited by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association and the Canadian Zoo and Aquarium Association.

Canada Olympic Park
Canada Olympic Park (COP) was a major venue in the 1988 Olympic Winter Games. It hosted the 15th Olympic Winter Games and is now Calgary's premier year-round sport and tourist attraction. COP offers winter programs in skiing and snowboarding, as well as mountain hiking trails in the summer. The park has Canada's only Olympic Bobsleigh/Luge Track. Guided bus tours are also available to learn about Calgary's Olympic heritage.

Banff Park Museum
National Historic Site of Canada The Banff Park Museum is the oldest natural history museum in Western Canada. It consists of a turn-of-the-century taxidermy collection that educates visitors to Banff National Park curious about the mammals, birds, insects and fish found in the Canadian Rockies. It also features a reading room and wildlife videos in the interactive Discovery Room.

Devonian Gardens
One of the worlds largest indoor parks ,this is a two and a half 'acre indoor garden in the heart or downtown Calgary. Containing over 20,000 plants including 138 local and tropical varieties, the Devonian Gardens has fountains, waterfalls, reflecting pools, bridges and a playground. There is a permanent art gallery and music recitals to enjoy.

Heritage Park
Heritage Park is Canada's largest living historical village recreating the feel of pre-1915 prairie life, and has over 150 exhibits and 45,000 artifacts, spread over 66 acres. Walk down Main Street, ride a steam locomotive, cruise around the Glenmore Reservoir on the S.S. Moyie paddlewheeler, and enjoy the antique midway. Heritage Park is open during the summer and for the 12 Days of Christmas program.

The Grain Academy
The Grain Academy illustrates the process of bringing grain from the field to the table. It is dedicated to the farmers who grow all types of grain, the scientists who develop the crops and those who operate the grain elevators and terminals. Features include a model train and grain elevator as well as a collection of films and artifacts.

Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery
Alberta has more than 1,000 fish-producing lakes and streams that contain 59 species of fish, 300 of these lakes are stocked by facilities such as the Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery. The Hatchery opened in 1973 and was named after one of Calgary's earliest homesteaders. It is one of two fish hatcheries and two trout brood stations operated by Alberta Environmental Protection, Natural Resources Service. A new 13,000 square foot visitor centre is set to open 2006, including a multimedia theatre, hands on exhibits and a discovery room.

Fort Calgary Historic Park
Fort Calgary Historic Park is located on the same spot where the original North West Mounted Police post once stood. In 1875, the North West Mounted Police arrived at the junction of the Bow and Elbow Rivers to establish a new fort. Today the fort offers tours of various exhibits that help visitors experience the environment, history, lifestyle and events of Calgary's history.
Fort Calgary is open year round excluding Good Friday, New Years Day, Christmas day and the days before and after Christmas.

Olympic Hall of Fame
The Olympic Hall of Fame and Museum is one of the largest of its kind in North America and offers a tribute to the "Olympic ideal." Located at Canada Olympic Park, visitors can come and view inspiring Olympic footage in the state-of-the-art theatre and explore two floors of displays and exhibits.

SpacePort
Located at the Calgary International Airport, SpacePort lets visitors experience the science and latest developments in aviation, high technology communication and space exploration. Inglewood Bird Sanctuary
Established in 1929, the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary occupies 80 acres of riverside land. Its walking paths are open during daylight hours year-round. The Interpretive Centre orients visitors to the sanctuary with an information desk and displays about birds and wildlife in and around Calgary.
