Calgary Opera

Calgary Opera presents three operas annually at the Jubilee Auditorium featuring nationally and internationally renown soloists and the Calgary Opera Chorus. The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra accompanies all opera performances. In addition, the Calgary Opera presents a Great Singers Recital series, featuring artists such as Kathleen Battle, Cecelia Bartoli and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.

Honens International Piano Competition

Honens is Canada's leading presenter of music for piano. Every year, Honens produces and supports more than 100 concert, education and outreach events in Calgary, across Canada and around the globe. The triennial Honens International Piano Competition is one of the world's great music competitions. The Sixth Honens Competition takes place in Calgary, 22 October to 6 November 2009.

Youth Singers of Calgary

Youth Singers of Calgary encourages the growth of musical talent in the lives of young Calgarians. As a nonprofit organization, the program currently enrolls more than 550 singers from ages three and a half to adulthood. Youth Singers of Calgary perform at more than 100 events a year and have toured four continents.
