Calgary is at the intersection of the Trans Canada and CanaMex highway systems. This enables road transportation from Alaska to Mexico, and Vancouver to St. John's.
Compared to any western Canadian city, Calgary is at least 1 hour and 15 minutes closer to the average Western Canadian. This can result in as much as 10 outbound transportation costs savings and improve service to a customer.
In 2004, J.D. Power and Associaties ranked Calgary's airport number one in passenger satisfaction for airports with less than 10 million passengers per year. It also has direct cargo lift from Asia and Europe.
