The EPCOR Centre for the Performing ArtsThe Centre showcases national, international, and local artists. Situated in downtown Calgary's cultural district, it occupies 400,000 square feet, making it one of three major art centres in Canada and the largest in Western Canada.
The Centre hosts concerts, programs, and entertainment events from artists around the globe. It is also home to eight acclaimed resident companies and eleven venues that continuously showcase a wide range of performing arts, corporate events and education and outreach programs. The Southern Alberta Jubilee AuditoriumLocated in the southern section of downtown Calgary, the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium is home to Calgary Opera and Alberta Ballet and musical and dramatic theater productions. It was extensively renovated in 2005 and can seat 2,500 patrons in comfort and offer the highest qulity of accoustics.The Auditorium is also committed to the community, hosting events such as the annual Kiwanis Music Festival, high school and post-secondary school graduations, community gala and special events and various local and regional performing arts organizations.
