Brief city description: In 1994, Calgary signed a sister city agreement with Naucalpan, Mexico. Naucalpan is a heavily industrialized centre with approximately 60% of Mexico City's industry. It is one of the state's most industrialized municipalities, second only to Toluca, its capital. It borders the northwestern part of Distrito Federal, and it is part of the Mexico City Metropolitan Area, which is the second largest Metropolitan Area of the world.
